Have you ever screamed at the top of your lungs,
But no one could hear since you’re yelling inside?
The top of your lungs simply being a metaphor?

Have you ever dreamed of a life more than this?
One you could feel was worth all the struggle?
But you’re always left thirsty for more?

Have you ever felt like the world is a hell
That you can’t escape, so you try to live well?
But so often fail at the expense of others?

I have too.
I feel you.

Do you feel me?
Do you know all we share?
Humanity flows through our veins
So often like a whirlwind

Have you ever felt the warmth of the answer,
The blessed assurance, the force of the call,
Knocking you backward in a reckless abandon?

Do you hear it?
Whispering in the whirlwind?
An answer from the ether?
A hand to make amends?
